Behavioral intention to use mobile health (mHealth) technologies among caregivers of cancer patients

INTRODUCTION: According to an analysis by the World Health Organization (WHO), thenumber of deaths caused cancer has increased every year from 1990 2017. Mobile health(mHealth) technologies are powerful tools improve awareness providing educationalinformation. Therefore, aim this study was examine factors affecting behaviorsamong caregivers patients in Malaysia using mHealth technologies.METHODS: The applied Unified Theory Acceptance and Use Technology 2 (UTAUT2)model as a theoretical framework, with I-Change Model (ICM) extend UTAUT2. Thepopulation element research focused on who own asmartphone capable accessing internet can download mobile applications. SmartPLSwas used for model construct testing. A total 131 sets valid data were collected thetarget population through online survey.RESULTS: Results showed Effort Expectancy (EE), Facilitating Condition (FC), Habit (HT),Awareness Factor (AWN), Perceived Privacy Risk (PPR) found be significant constructs.Performance (PE), Social Influence (SI), Hedonic Motivation (HM), Price Value (PV)were not constructs.CONCLUSION: This provided baseline use thecaregivers reduce their caregiving burden.
